WHO'S IT FOR?
Basically everyone with a healthy appetite and curious nature - for those who enjoy good food, wine and conversation....for those of you who'd enjoy experiencing a rural way of french life for a couple of days..
Cooks of all capacities are welcome, as basic cooking techniques are always explained.
WHO'S YOUR TEACHER?
Sinéad Allart, a knowledgable and experienced Irish gastronome, with a food background, who's been living in Normandy for 17 years, fully embracing la vie à la française...more
WHAT DO WE LEARN?
While a lot of the emphasis is on local cuisine, we are completely open to suggestions, and organise courses for beginners..... cooking for blokes..... easy entertaining.... meals in minutes.....healthy cooking.....girlie feasts and much more....

HOW LONG ARE THE COURSES?
As long or as short as you like!
In order to help you fit in as much as possible during your time here we organise half-day cookery classes ......morning/evening...whichever suits your schedule, aswell as
3 day all-in gourmet breaks.
However, should you wish to stay longer, feel free to
contact us for a tailor-made course.
WHERE IS THE WILDE KITCHEN?
The Wilde kitchen is located only 20 kms south west of the ferry port of Cherbourg, in the beautiful Cotentin Peninsula only 6 kms from sandy beaches. We're perfectly located for visiting
Le Mont St. Michel, La Cité de la Mer,D-Day beaches and Sainte Mère Eglise, the Bayeux Tapestry among many other attractions...
WHAT ABOUT NON-PARTICIPATING GUESTS?
They're always welcome to join us as 'tasters' at meal-times and will find lots of interesting places to visit and activities to do while their 'foodie' friends cook up a storm!
WHERE DO WE STAY?
We've been busy out of the kitchen too over the past few years so that you can now stay in, what used to be, the maid's quarters of our 18th century property. see gourmet breaks @ the wilde kitchen!
